December Daily is my favourite craft project of the year. But this year, just like last, I’ve found that I’ve been slow to make a start on any foundation pages. I’d had the album (6×8) and cards from In a Creative Bubble ready to go for awhile, but I’d been dragging my feet.

Luckily, I went to Crop in the Country last weekend and there was a class about a festive mini book. It is not quite finished but December is looming … and a few pages set up is better than none. The plan is to try and finish the album by the end of November, but if I don’t manage that, I will simply add the extra pages as I go through December.

I’ll be adding the usual extras: The Boy’s Christmas wish list, a spare invitation to our drinks party, Royal Mail posting dates, etc.

And that original 6×8 album will keep until next December.

Do let me know in the comments if you would like me to send you the instructions for making the mini book.

  1. Oh how exciting to begin D.D. I like so much about your mini album. The paper on the cover & dangle Merry Christmas; the fold outs, especially the first one on the tringle folder ; the rings on the top; the tags. This is quite a change from previous D.D. albums. I am still on the fence about doing a D.D. this year, so maybe saying yes to instructions might be the jump off of inspiration, as long as not a lot of work for you 🙂

    1. Yes very different to the last few years of DD, but I am hoping I can make it work.
Check your email later today or tomorrow for the instructions.

  2. Oh how lovely! I love that little dangly Christmas tag on the spine – you will easily find that mini book on the shelf in years to come!
You are far neater in folding papers than I ever was – even with a paper creaser I would always go slightly off the line I was supposed to be following!
