The Best Friend and I spent last weekend inside a function room of a large golf club in semi-rural Essex. We were there for the Kitty Boo CraftAway, which is run by the immensely talented Karen.

There were twelve festive-themed classes on offer, all suitable to be completed at your own pace. I created six 12×12 layouts (more on those soon), one mini book and one Christmas ribbon wreath. I also had the opportunity to catch up with crafty friends from a few years ago – the link was that we had all taken Shimelle‘s Blogging for Scrapbookers course in 2009. With each and every one of them, it was like we had seen each other just last week.

You won’t be surprised to learn that we have already booked for next May.
Lots of happy faces there! Sounds like you had a great weekend 🙂

A fun weekend away. Oh how I miss those scrapping gatherings. I did recognize a few faces in the crowd! The lady sitting next to you in the table group photo, I know she use to blog (maybe still does). And will we see more of the ribbon wreath? (yes please).

The lady to my right is Becky, former blogger and all round lovely lady. The lady on my left I hadn’t met before, Ann, also lovely.
Details of wreath coming next week.
