September means that the Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness is approaching. It also means that Shimelle is running her annual class, Learn Something New Every Day.
As with the previous few years, I’m recording what I’ve learned throughout September here.

Day 16: Leaf sweeping is back for the foreseeable future.

Day 17: Our decorator has pushed back the start date for our next round of decorating.

Day 18: Four-year-olds walk really slowly. 🙂

Day 19: In order to work, the iron actually needs to be plugged in.

Day 20: Remembering to book an Afternoon Tea treat is a good thing.

  2. It’s a phrase I use quite often but I’ve never thought of writing them down. Brilliant idea, I’m going to start in October.

  3. Had to smile at Day 18 – but would add that the more you need to be somewhere at a certain time, the slower they walk!

I had to smile at 19, and am sharing your pain from day 16. We have lots of trees around us and they all blow onto our drive/path. It’s a daily battle!

    1. I wouldn’t mind so much if they were actually our trees!
