It’s not every day that you happen across a herd of elephants in West London’s Chelsea. 🙂
The elephants are part of the CoExistance herd and are made from a natural plant material called Lantana Camara, an invasive species that can damage ecosystems and is toxic to grazing animals. Close up, they are absolutely stunning.

They’ve been in Chelsea since the middle of May and arrive in Green Park, St James’s Park and Berkeley Square on 14th June.
The elephants are also available to buy …
Stunning & what a way to bring attention to an ongoing problem. So many plants “innocently transported” out of their natural area wreck such havoc on other areas.

I know … I’d never even heard of Lantana Camara before.

‘Slightly’ out of my price range I’m afraid, but what beautiful sculptures. How lucky to have seen them on your travels!

Those elephants would be so much fun to come across on a walk or in a garden. I love the texture of them. Nice find.
