Day 6: was when I posted the largest batch of Christmas cards. I also added the Post Office’s leaflet about Christmas posting times.

Day 7: was when we hosted our Annual Non-Christmas Christmas Drinks Party. And as usual, I’m full of plans re photography but end up simply grabbing one or two images on my iPhone as the food was rapidly disappearing.
I added the draft copy of our party invitation, a cute photo of Tilly (who took it all in her stride) and my party to to list to make up for the lack of photos.
Day 8: I dropped a Christmas present round to a friend’s house and then enjoyed a beautiful sunset while walking Tilly in the park.

Day 9: was about how the shenanigans of Elvis the Elf are now for me rather than The Boy Child.

Day 10: was the day the legendary double-issue of the Radio Times went on sale.

December Daily | my favourite project of the year.
Jingle Bells Jingle Bells, that peek inside your December Daily is wonderful. Oh what fun you are having, in an open house, hey that Elvis is naughty cute …

Looking very bright and cheerful – envying you that lovely sunset as we have had three days and nights of continuous rain up here. I like your photo of the Radio Times – reminds me of my childhood!

The Radio Times is very much part of our Christmas traditions!

Have you gone through the magazine circling the things you need to watch/record? I can’t wait for the new Gavin and Stacey but I think it’s on Christmas Day so I will have to remember to record it as there is no way I will be able to watch it properly on the big day!

I haven’t, but TBC has certainly memorised large parts of the festive schedule!

What would Christmas drinks be? I can only think of Wassail. Lol.

In our case, a drinks party usually means Champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee and water …
