Welcome to my favourite project of the year! Let’s see how days 21-25 turned out:
Day 21: The first day of the school holidays and we marked it with a visit to the Panto in the West End. It was really quite rude in places.A simple 7×5 photo of The Boy Child, with journaling on the reverse, did the trick. I also added the tickets.
Day 22: Time for a Christmas film. The Boy Child chose Arthur Christmas.
Day 23: We left Christmas behind for the day and went out to visit Hughenden, the former home of British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli.
Day 24: A low-key day close to home, with the highlight being when The Boy Child asked for a triple vodka. I filled a small pocket with chipboard embellishments and machine stitched it closed. I like how you can glimpse the photo behind it.
Day 25: Santa came (and left a wee note)! We spent the afternoon with the In Laws and had a wonderful time. We came home with hearts full of love and tummies full of delicious food.In order to capture the whole day, I spread it over several pages and used the final pocket for a piece of patterned paper and a few embellishments.
Supplies: photos (which I print at home using an Epson XP-760), Christmas themed journaling and filler cards (Holly Jolly by Becky Higgins) and embellishments (from Pebbles, My Mind’s Eye and Pretty Little Studio).
