The lovely Mary-Lou of Patio Postcards blog pointed me recently in the direction of Brené Brown‘s new weekly gratitude practice, TGIF. Most of us would recognise TGIF as an acronym for Thank God It’s Friday, but in Brené’s world it stands for Trusting, Grateful, Inspired and Fun.
Trusting: that the weather will be kind for an upcoming day at The Championships.
Grateful: that we are in a position to indulge our love of travel. We’re currently contemplating a hop across the Channel, perhaps twice, and a UK road trip.
Inspired: to overhaul The Brainy One’s wardrobe prior to attending our first wedding of the Summer.
Fun: to receive another wedding invitation for later this Summer.

Oh how lovely to have two opportunities to attend weddings – fingers crossed that the flirty flamingo wedding has great weather as well as your road trip & time at the championships. Tilly must be grateful for such cozy wraps at rest time.

How lovely to be able to see the tennis live at Wimbledon – and a pair of weddings (I remember that flamingo-themed invitation) and and some trips away to boot. Will you make a travel journal to take with you? Hoping the wardrobe makeover goes well …
