Today has been glorious, blue skies and gorgeous sunshine all day. At times though, we had fairly strong gusts of wind, as you can see by The Boy Child's hair in this photo! I do love it when The Boy Child can be outside all the time.

Poorly DS
My wee man has been struck down with the lurgy today. I found him covered in sick this morning, when I went to get him up at 8am, and he was sick fairly regularly for most of the day. By teatime, he seemed to be over the worst and managed a bowl of dry Shreddies, … Continue reading Poorly DS
DS At 28 Months
Another 9th of the month has rolled around and my wee monkey is running me ragged! Cannot understand why some ladies deliberately make a "lifestyle choice" to have their babies in their late 30s/early 40s!! I am NOT a flag waver for late motherhood at all!

Mummy’s Slippers
DS was funny this afternoon because he decided to try my slippers on for size. He'd lost a sock and I was trying to persuade him to pick it up so we could put it back on; I took my slippers off to show him that I was wearing my socks and that was that. … Continue reading Mummy’s Slippers
Spring Is Springing!

Our small rhododendron has surprised me this year by producing flowers; it's just been mostly stick-like since our 4 legged friend tried … Continue reading Spring Is Springing!
Monthly Book Group
I trotted off to the library again this morning, after dropping The Boy Child at nursery, for the book group. I'm beginning to like some of the ladies in the group very much (our one token male is away travelling just now on the Trans-Siberian Express). Linda the Librarian is very nice and is good … Continue reading Monthly Book Group
SLYMI: Week 18
This week's challenge was to scrap outdoors; mine is more outside!
Red Friday
Did you remember to wear red today? I'm in my new 3/4 sleeve "strawberry" t-shirt and DS is in his England rugby shirt. (As I'm typing away, 2 RAF Merlin helicopters have just flown over our house.)The group on Facebook now stands at 74,102 and rising!
