The Stealth Ops series (10 books) by Brittany Sahin | Kindle: I came across these on Instagram and they’re a lot of fun. The series follows a team of off-the-books Navy SEALS – cue lots of dangerous missions combined with steamy romance. Each member of the SEALS’ team has their own book.
The Bet by by Jodie Slaughter | Kindle: The first time Aja Owens encounters the man of her dreams, she’s having a panic attack in the frozen foods section of the Piggly Wiggly. The second time, he’s being introduced to her as her favorite bingo buddy’s semi-estranged grandson. From there, all it takes is one game for her to realize that he’s definitely going to be a problem. And if there’s anything she already has a surplus of, it’s problems.
This is a book where heat builds slowly but intensely, featuring an emotionally mature couple who don’t let their fears keep them from exploring a romance. I was pleasantly surprised to be sucked into the story.
