Two of the books I read had a festive theme, which was accidentally timely.

Always, in December | Emily Stone | Kindle | A debut novel which caught me by surprise. I thought this would be an uplifting read; it turned out to be anything but. The story is well written and draws you in and even though it was not what I was expecting, I still enjoyed it. Watch out for the ending …

One Last Gift | Emily Stone | Kindle | What happens when we lose those we love the most? This story has it all … loss, grief, love, friendship and sometimes the best gifts in life are the ones you don’t expect.

I also reread a few titles from the Stealth Ops series (10 books) by Brittany Sahin.

Two titles by the same author! It sounds like both had a bit of a twist to them. More to add to my list!
