Did you watch the Coronation of King Charles III? It was an amazing and historic occasion for the United Kingdom and our Commonwealth Family.
We watched with The Oldest Friends and had a superb day. 🙂
Glasses of Bucks Fizz by 10am, sausage and bacon baps, texting with Australia, and Penny Mordaunt.

Two standout moments for me:
- The call and response between the Archbishop of Canterbury and the congregation – God Save The King!
- Four thousand troops giving three cheers for our new King and Queen in the garden of Buckingham Palace – confirming the inseparable bond between the armed forces and the sovereign.

Only the bit where they put the crown on his head then Camilla’s. 😁

Yes! The Archbishop looked extremely nervous and Queen Camilla was clearly concerned about being able to see and whether the crown was wobbly! 👑

That photo of their view from the balcony is wonderful! Everything went so well, they must have all been exhausted at the end of the day!

I follow Chris Jackson on Instagram and I was shrieking when I saw what he was doing – as if I knew him in person – “Ooh, look at Chris! That’s going to be a fab shot!”

The precision of that armed forces cheer from the garden of Buckingham Palace, was A M A Z I N G. The Archbishop did well through out the service. Sliding over to Saturday’s concert; I really liked Prince William’s speech. What a day, what a weekend! Makes me proud & glad to be part of the Commonwealth. I am liking your family’s attire tributes – Tilly looks adorable. 🙂

Yes the concert was fun – the Coronation Choir was my favourite, especially the part where they signed the “singing”.
Tilly was really not that impressed with her bandana, to be honest!
