For the Love of Books | Currently Reading February 2023

Exes and O’s by Amy Lea | Kindle | Could I begin by saying that the use of the apostrophe in the title is incorrect! That’s me using my shouty voice. Os is plural and has no need of an apostrophe. Also, this is a rubbish title.

Our heroine Tara is 30, recently broken up with her fiancé and flat-sharing with a guy she’s never met before. She decides to re-date every guy who has ever broken up with her in a quest for second chance love … and the flat mate ends up helping her. No prizes for guessing how this story turns out. It was a quick and easy read, perfect for a reading day or as a beach read.

Just sort out the incorrect grammar.

A Not So Meet Cute by Meghan Quinn | Kindle | The basic premise is this: Huxley needs a pretend pregnant fiancée and Lottie needs a fake partner for her school reunion. In the style of Pretty Woman, but without the prostitution. The love scenes are steamy!

So Not Meant To Be and A Long Time Coming also by Meghan Quinn | Kindle | Stand-alone novels but tied in with A Not So Meet Cute. Yet more steamy love scenes.
