It was a week full of snuffles, coughs and blocked ears.

- The Brainy One lectured at the University of Cambridge for two days
- I had coffee with another autism mum
- The jewellers notified me that my engagement ring is apparently unrepairable
- I took The Boy to the doctor
- The Boy went to Work Experience
- I had my haircut
- The Boy and I collected his new glasses
- I went to the salon to have my eyebrows done
- The Boy went to AEP
- The Boy and I went to Kyiv Road in Notting Hill – more on that later this week
- I tidied up in the garden
What a shame that the jewellers can’t repair your ring – is it worth seeking a second opinion from somewhere else?
I had good intentions about getting out in the garden last week but the sunshine was deceiving and it was in fact a lot colder than I thought it was going to be so I quickly changed my mind!

I’ve been to see the jeweller this morning and we have reached an agreement I can live with. 🙂
I looked like the Michelin Man when I was tidying up in the garden – a gazillion layers! I had tea in a thermos mug and a podcast from Serial to keep me going!

I hope that the sniffles & such are all gone & everyone is in recovery mode. That’s really too bad about your engagement ring. Can a remake be created from the gold & gems left? Or would a new design be an option? How wonderful TBO got to be in Cambridge – any filming going on while he was there? Garden Envy – tidying in the garden this week for us means, shoveling and/or snow blowing the snow to clear the driveway & walkways (col).

I think we are all mostly recovered – The Boy still has slightly blocked ears.
No filming in Cambridge but my guys did see filming at Duxford during half-term … the new Netflix wartime drama Six Triple Eight.
I’ve agreed a compromise re my engagement ring, one that I can live with and won’t cost ££££s.
No snow here in London but I think a wintry spell is forecast for later this week.
