Two side-by-side pages in our original 2009 album ended up together thanks to serendipity. They were two separate occasions, but actually appeared to be one.

I decided to turn these photos into a double-page spread and scraplifted a design from Scrapbooking Quebec, as I had the exact same papers in my stash.

I absolutely love how this turned out!
This re-doing album is going to be lovely! Isn’t it interesting to see how styles in scrapbooking have changed over the years?

Thanks! I definitely prefer my style now than when I first began scrapbooking!

Styles & ideas all change & yours definitely have improved with age. Fabulous layout. My favourite photo is of TB making his Gran laugh out loud.

Last weekend my daughter asked to see and keep the first scrapbooking albums I made for her years ago. I prefer my scrapbooking style today to those first efforts. But the ‘art’ of scrapbooking with all the papers and tools and embellishments has come so far. Your updated version of this spread is just lovely. I really like the colors and the combination of prints.

Thanks very much.
It’s really quite astonishing/impressive just how much scrapbooking has changed in the last 15 years or so. I definitely prefer today’s styles.
