This is the 5th year in a row that I’ve set myself the challenge of not buying anything I don’t truly need for a whole month. It helps that February is the shortest month of the year.

On my list of things not to buy are:
- Teas and/or coffees in cafés
- clothes
- books and magazines
- scrapbooking supplies 😦
- sweets and chocolate (which I shall most likely continue with as we move into March and the beginning of Lent)
I’ll be reporting back here, keeping myself accountable, towards the end of the month.
I’ve set the intention of not buying any new clothes or yarn for the whole of 2023. So far so good. Good luck with Frugal February xx

Frugal February is a perfect challenge for me, encouraging the using up of the scrapping stash but does a picking up of a pre-order count? (col). Taking a month out of the purchasing does make us mindful of being so blessed with what we do have.
On another note, I just finished Iona Iverson’s Rules For Commuting (aka Five People You Meet On Platform Five), I liked a lot & had quite a chuckle near the end over Lulu’s tutu wearing to the play, thanks for recommending. And you are most welcome for the introduction to Dorothy. You rocked out a perfect scrap lift of her Vicki Boutin page! WOW, just WOW to your page.

Hahaha, how well you know me! I did indeed slip in a small order of stash at the end of January!
All credit for my page belongs to Dorothy, she is very talented and I love how her cats make cameo appearances!

Somehow I feel that you have a ‘few’ bits and pieces of scrapbooking supplies to get you through a month of not buying more 😉

That’s a great list, and I remember you doing this last year too. Two months without chocolate would be a huge achievement for me!
