Scrapbooking in 2023 | The Goals

I imagine that in regard to scrapbooking, 2023 will be fairly similar to 2022, and that thought has helped to consolidate this year’s goals.

Storage for albums remains at a premium, so I’m continuing the theme of one layout for each month this year – 12 in 23 – and One Little Word spreads. Any travels will most likely warrant a traveler’s notebook, although if the plans for a long-haul Summer trip come to fruition, there will absolutely be a stand-alone 12×12 album.

I’m continuing with reworking older albums – 2009 and 2010 are left to do – and depending on how that goes, I may look into reworking those early Project Life albums.

So there you have it. There’s a plan, coupled with a few variables, but a plan nonetheless.

Basically, it’s more of the same. 🙂

How will you be recording your memories throughout 2023?

  1. Fingers crossed for that long haul trip. I don’t blame you for continuing last year’s process, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’!
My memory keeping will be done via my blog using the other Deb’s World’s idea of ‘what’s been on your calendar’ and with the ‘1 Second Everyday’ app on my phone.

  2. Oh a long haul trip sounds exciting – a hint of where? I agree with Deb’s comments about sticking with a tried & workable method of memory keeping. My plans for 2023 memory keeping … first a plan to make memories 🙂

  3. A long haul trip will definitely need a large space of its own! You sound very settled and at ease with your plans – and that they’re do-able (always very important, I think).

  4. You are so good and faithful to your scrapbooking. I am so behind. Come help me catch up!! I have a one-year-old grandson who isn’t even born yet according to my scrapbook chronology!! Too many precious moments to scrap. We just spent a few days in Santa Fe, New Mexico playing in the snow. I want to scrap those pictures now but am stuck somewhere in summer of 2021 scrapbooking a beach trip.

    1. I treat my scrapbooking as a form of therapy and it is hard to imagine my life without it.
Don’t worry about not being “caught up, just create what you fancy, but I would definitely be scrapping all those newborn photos!
