Festive Afternoon Tea at The Corinthia Hotel in London’s West End

A friend and I treated ourselves to a Festive Afternoon Tea recently and it was fabulous! We went to the Corinthia Hotel, which is two minutes from Embankment Tube Station.

The service was a little fussy for my tastes, but the presentation and the attention to detail were both faultless.

There is no denying that Afternoon Tea in a Central London hotel is an expensive treat, but guests can find that three or four hours have passed before they know it. Both my friend and I enjoy the opportunity to sit back, relax, talk about everything and nothing, and laugh a lot … all while eating delicious finger sandwiches and tiny cakes.

  1. How wonderfully festive; from the decorations, festive table settings & two divinely seasonal ladies. So worth the expensive IMO. I chuckled out loud when I heard my self say – “that’s an impressive mirror glaze on the joy petit four”. Too much holiday Mary Berry.
