I’m continuing with the theme begun back in 2020 – an album title page and one layout per month.
For September, I went with the day I had my Covid booster and The Brainy One and I went out for birthday drinks and lunch.

As this page sits opposite September’s One Little Word spread, I used the same design but rotated it one turn. And for further design cohesion, I used Doodlebug Design’s My Happy Place range again.
Isn’t it interesting how turning a design on its side can make it look so different? A great choice of day to record for the month!

Thank you! It is easy to forget that a simple rotation of a sketch can make a finished layout look totally different.

Very nice layout for the month. Just a rotation of design keeps the similarity for the album but yet allows each page to stand on its own.

Thanks, couldn’t have said it better myself.

I find my pages are beginning to all look the same. I need to remember the rotation trick. And to try creating a layout with the little squares like you have featured here. Do you have trouble with your paper cutter not cutting straight? I have had a half dozen cutters and none of them have cut straight. Then trying to line things up becomes a real challenge.
Your choice of colors and paper reflect the happiness of the day. Pretty page.

Haha, I think wonky squares are more to do with me than my cutter!
