One event in September embodied our One Little Word – the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
I wanted to include several trimmed 6×4 photos so I created a concertina double-sided flap to sit on top of a background grid pattern.

All patterned paper and embellishments are from Doodlebug Design’s My Happy Place range.
What a lovely page. I like the way you have used the fold out element to add more photos and journalling.

Thank you … the design is tweaked from one I saw on Instagram a while back.

A beautiful page. The photo of our Queen is just stunning.
It still seems strange that she is no longer with us. A remarkable woman indeed.

Thanks. I agree, it still feels odd to refer to the king.

A brilliant way to use more photos to help with the memory, the story. Are your squares 2″?

Yes, 2″ squares cut on the guillotine, so they are not all exactly the same size!

How dear that you created a spread for the Queen. I know she would be or is so touched.

Thanks … I didn’t think that anything that happened in September would meet the criteria of “redefine.”
