Me on Monday | 3 October

It was a week where a lot of time was spent of looking at the different options for The Boy’s next educational step.

  • Asking questions, emailing and arranging telephone calls
  • I managed a flying visit to Westfield in search of a birthday present
  • I went for my Covid booster
  • The Brainy One celebrated a birthday and he and I went out for lunch
  • The Boy and I went to see the latest art installation on the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square … more on that soon
  • The Boy enjoyed his first decaf pumpkin spiced latté

  1. Oh I do hope that finding the next step for TB isn’t too challenging. I can imagine that will be taking up a lot of your time. I do hope that you find something that ticks all the boxes and has places available. And I know this makes me sound very old, but it hardly seems any time at all that you were sharing photos of his first days in school!

    1. The process is already feeling stressful … but I am trying to remain hopeful and positive.
And I agree that it was only yesterday that he was starting school! 🙂

  2. Hopefully for the next educational step, there are options that will continue to engage TB. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pumpkin spiced latte, but for most things with pumpkin I’m all in & that’s my goal for today is to find pie pumpkins. Happy Belated Birthday Wishes to TBO – was the flying trip in search of a gift successful?

    1. I must say that a PSL will never pass my lips, ever! The mere thought of it makes me feel queasy. 😦
The trip to the mall was not successful, I shopped local in the end and TBO was happy with his gifts.
