It was a week where things began to adapt to the new normal.

- I went to the salon to have my eyebrows done
- The Brainy One had lunch with a former colleague
- The Brainy One received an invitation to make an appointment for a Covid booster
- I met another autism mum for a cuppa and a chat
- The Brainy One had his Covid booster
- The Boy Child began the Aviation Education Programme with Aerobility
- The Boy and I went to see Ticket in Paradise at the cinema
Absolutely BRILLIANT news about the Aerobility course! I’m so pleased for him! What an opportunity. He’s so lucky to have a mum who does so much research into things that will interest him – he’s going to really enjoy himself.

I have to give credit where credit is due, The Brainy One was the one who knew about Aerobiliy and arranged the flights.

You have had a busy week. The Areobility program sounds amazing – yeah for TB. Isn’t it strange that we now think that COVID vaccine jabs are part of our normal. In Ontario (& I’m sure other parts of Canada) are as of this morning, offering the latest COVID Omicron variant jabs for everyone. It’s now COVID & Flu jabs at the same clinic or pharmacy (chemist).

The UK is currently offering Covid boosters to the over 50s, starting the with oldest groups first. I will hopefully have mine before the end of the year. Flu jabs will also be available.
