This is my version of an ad I saw at the back of the current edition of Scrapbook and Cards Today. I realised that I hadn’t left space for the journaling, so I sliced along the roofline and tucked a journaling card underneath.

Both are great layouts. Your note edge for the COVID story matches the edge of your roof line – I like when there’s a natural tie in & what a clever way & place to tuck in journaling.
