It was a week of everyday life mixed with extremely distressing news.

- The gas boiler was serviced
- A 21-year-old woman was murdered just 10 minutes away from our house
- We dog sat for my sister-in-love
- The Brainy Boy and The Colombian celebrated 10 years of marriage 🙂
- I continued working on the Jersey journal
- The surveyor came to confirm our order of a bespoke bookcase
- The film crew was back and annoying everyone. They were also offering cash if residents allowed parking on private driveways – none of us took up their
bribeoffer - The Boy went to school dressed in his brightest clothes to mark International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia
- We met my sister-in-love to walk our dogs and have lunch
- The Boy and I went into town to see the West End decorated for the Jubilee
- The Premier League title race went down to the final game of the season, but things didn’t quite go Liverpool’s way
Oh my goodness that really is a little too close to home. So tragic.
It certainly has been a nail biting end to the football season hasn’t it? Hope TB wasn’t too upset by the result this weekend.

Gosh, how scary, and how sad for the young woman and her family.

Goodness, that was certainly sad and shocking news. The crime in our community of northeast El Paso is up quite a bit. I never thought much about going for a walk by myself but I do these days.

I know what you mean – we walk by the spot where she was found a lot, because it’s the route to the park with the pooch. Terrible.
