For want of a better idea, I’m sticking with recording this year’s word of redefine simply – one 12×12 scrapbook page each month.

For January I chose a family gathering, which looked normal on the surface. Underneath that layer of normality, those of us over the age of 12 are fully vaccinated, all adults and The Boy took a lateral flow test a few hours before gathering, and cuddling with the baby was not allowed. These were the things that redefined an event that we had all previously taken for granted.
‘normal’ has most definitely had to be redefined! Great first page. Hope you get to cuddle that baby very soon!

It will be lovely to be able to cuddle the baby, whenever that may be! 🙂

Brilliant use of your OLW for January along with a strong show of that word in your layout; hidden journal tag?

Thanks, the journaling is tucked behind the photo on the left hand side. 🙂

So much has been redefined, hasn’t it … Great idea to notice and record. This is such a cheerful page with all those bright colours and yet plenty of white space too.

Thank you! I think we’re all redefining how we live, aren’t we.
