There wasn’t a stand out favourite amongst all the books I read last year, no equivalent of Eleanor or Daisy, but I still have six titles that I’d encourage you to read.
The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth | A multi-layered story about a quirky librarian struggling with social functioning read in May 2021.
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens | A superb story read in June 2021.
Hostage by Clare Mackintosh | A gripping thriller read in July 2021.
Address Unknown by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor | A short but powerful tale read in August 2021.
Always Only You by Chloe Liese | A gorgeous romance with autism at its heart. And ice hockey players. You’re welcome. Read in October 2021.
Just Haven’t Met You Yet by Sophie Cousens | A sweet romance set in Jersey and also read in October 2021.
I always enjoy your recommendations, my ‘to be read’ list is growing nicely! Only one on your list that I’ve already read, The Good Sister. I really enjoyed that.
