Annual Blog Review | 2021

Let me begin by thanking you for reading, commenting and staying with me throughout 2021. It was another difficult year.

Let’s also take a look at the all-important numbers: I wrote 254 posts, totaling 38,444 words. I have 359 followers. There were 1,935 comments, averaging 8 comments per post.

Throughout 2021 one thing continued to remain clear; I wrote for me, and for me alone.  That you, a reader, may have found something of interest has always been a bonus.

And what of This West London Life‘s content?  It was both the same and different to previous years:

Still not making an appearance were posts about overseas travel. Posts about exploring London were in short supply. I’m hopeful that both might make appear regularly in 2022.

I’m happy to continue sharing This London Life with cyberspace in 2022 and I’d be delighted if you were part of it as well.  If not, well, thanks for the time you did spend here.  It was very much appreciated.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, the new year is waiting …

  1. I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog too, Ruth (not commented before) – lots of interesting subjects. Hope to keep following in 2022. Happy New Year to you and your family.

  2. I don’t see too much out of order in the photo with the ‘untidy backdrop.’ Truly like the way you have pictures and photos displayed on the floating shelves. I like the flexible of having them on the shelves rather than on the walls. You can move them about more easily.

You look marvelous in that blue sweater/jumper. Great color for you. Glad the scavenger hunt will continue as well as your other posts. What will you be doing for the #100dayproject? I am thinking I will try to finish a cross stitch.

    1. I love my floating shelves from IKEA!
Re this year’s 100 Day Project, I think it will be a case of finishing up all and or any unfinished past projects.
