The Boy and I recently spent a night at my club in town and after dinner, we ventured out on foot to check out the Christmas lights. (I’d been apprehensive about whether we should go into town or not but having decided to do so, we found Central London quieter than expected. We walked wherever we could, wore our masks outdoors whenever we felt uncomfortable and avoided places like Covent Garden and Oxford Street.)
Want to see London in all her festive loveliness?

Gorgeousness!
Thank you so much for sharing these. I wish I could see London for myself.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Carole.

How wonderful to see all this in person. I think the angels in lights across the Regent Street are still my favourite, but oh my those peacock feather & beaks(?) are really beautiful on New Bond Street. Fortnum and Mason looks like a big biscuit box of goodies.

The angels are fab, but the peacock feathers and crown are also cool. F&M is decorated to look like an Advent Calendar.

Absolutely beautiful! Must have been a great atmosphere up there, how lucky to have someone special to share your evening with x

In truth, the atmosphere was a little flat, probably due to the lack of crowds. The Boy was great and didn’t moan too much …

Oh how wonderfully festive!
We drove through some local neighbors and looked at Christmas lights last night. There were a few standouts – one that looked like a lit-up Gingerbread House!
