Me on Monday

It was a week of colder days and earlier sunsets.

  • The Boy had one remaining day of half-term
  • The Boy and I baked together
  • I had my Covid booster jab 🙂 Twenty four hours of tiredness and a sore arm
  • Tilly and I met friends for coffee and a catch-up
  • We decided to go ahead with our annual Christmas drinks party and sent out invitations
  • I started my Christmas shopping 🙂
  • I began thinking about December Daily but didn’t get very far
  • We met my sister-in-love to walk our dogs together
  • The Brainy One and I went out with friends for dinner

  1. Fingers crossed for this year’s drinks party!
We are booked for boosters this Friday, I was surprised how fast and easily I was able to book it.
I think we are all thinking that we should start that Christmas shopping earlier this year! I did actually buy some wrapping paper when I was in Waitrose earlier, now I need to think about what I am going to get to put inside it!

  2. Booster Jab for COVID is a good way to start off. I see great minds like ours (col) were thinking about December Daily. Thumbs up for a return to familiar with the planned drinks party … a new frock is definitely in order for this celebration.

  3. Sounds like it was a good week. We’ve been out for longer walks now that the weather is cool enough here and I have a few Christmas gifts in the works here in the craft room. 🙂 Hope you have a fabulous week!

  4. Thinking of Christmas makes me weary. I have no idea what to buy for anyone. My daughter is having a baby by C-section on 12.20 so we won’t be home for the holidays anyway. Won’t put up a tree either. Makes me kind of sad. But it will be wonderful to welcome a new baby. Fun to walk pups with friends and family. My second daughter is getting a new pup on Tuesday. Will be excited to help walk “Pumpkin.”
