Learn Something New Every Day | Days 21-25

September meant that the Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness was approaching. It also meant that Shimelle ran her annual class, Learn Something New Every Day.
As with the previous few years, I’m recording what I learned throughout September here.

Day 21: The first day of Autumn was perfect for meandering around Chelsea.

Day 22: Moving scrapbooks around is heavy and sweaty work.

Day 23: Having both the decorator and the plumber in the house made me feel as if it was all too ‘peopley’.

Day 24: We should have been bolder with paint years ago – Valspar’s Bonjour is my new favourite colour.

Day 25: Watching the first live show of the new Strictly series with The Boy makes me happy.

  1. I think it’s going to be a good ‘Strictly’ season! It might be too early to have a favourite but I am really enjoying Johannes and John, the choreography is so good.
Looking forward to the big reveal of the redecoration projects!

  2. I did chuckle at the “too peopley” comment. Cheerful yellow would be an easy colour to live with & decorate with. Oh yeah I hear you about scrapbooks being heavy …
