I made a single page to showcase May.
I used an old design by Shimelle to record a day spent at Hughenden with friends-who-are-like-family – it was the first time we’d seen them since Christmas 2019.

For June, I chose to record our day at Cerney House and Gardens and I used a sketch I’d seen on the Felicity Jane blog.

These two pages sit side-by-side in the album … a happy accident that I used the same flowery patterned paper on both. 🙂
Isn’t it great to be able to use photos of you all out and about? Lovely pages to document happy days out with friends.

It was indeed – certainly something I don’t think I’ll ever take for granted again. 🙂

Oh, my, that is quite a happy accident. My sister scraps only 2-page spreads but sometimes I just can’t stretch an activity or event onto 2 pages. It’s wonderful when the facing pages play well together. I like the happy print and the little bit of paper that reads I love you I love you I love you. The larger letters look almost as if they were cut from cork. Pretty, cheerful pages.

I make a lot of double spreads, but sometimes there really are only enough photos for a single spread. 🙂
Those glittery foam letters are from a Shimelle collection from a few years ago.
