One of the UFOs on my list for this year’s 100 Day Project was to finish a 6×8 album about our long weekend in South Lakeland last Summer. I’d added a bunch of photos and then put it aside. To complete the album, I used journaling and filler cards from In a Creative Bubble and minimal embellishments.
There’s enough space left in the album to accommodate this year’s proposed trip. 🙂
It’s nice having another project finished & I’m sure that while working on this project, it stirred a lot of happy memories. It probably also serves as a travel guide for this year’s jaunt out. Happy Weekend.

That size is perfect for a travel album, it’s a great way to record a holiday. I bet the lakes are pretty full after all this rain we’ve been having!

I think their weather has been a little dryer than ours of late!

How satisfying to have completed a project and to be contemplating another lovely experience! I am sure it does our brain good to connect again with past happy times through scrapbooking. I like your journalling cards with the great mix of photos and text.

Good work on catching up with this album. Glad you completed it but have room for this year’s trip, too. I met a goal by finishing the pages for my niece’s wedding in 2019!! So. Behind. Need to catch up on pages for my ever-growing granddaughters. I really like those filler cards. Followed your link to discover that a lot of those things are digital and you print them out. Very cool. Do you use card stock or just paper? Have never tried that.

I print out the IACB cards on cardstock and it works well. 🙂
