It’s been a fab few days here …
- The Postie delivered the latest offering from Mhairi McFarlane. π
- The Brainy One and I tackled the weeding and replanting in our front garden.
- We met up with my SiL to walk our dogs together and then had lunch in her garden.
- We revisited Hughenden.
- We enjoyed a roast lamb dinner.
- The Boy and I planned a Weekday Walk in town. π
- We arranged to meet The Best Friends later this week.
- We’ve arranged for a garden designer to give us an estimate for replacing the lawn in the back garden.
Oh isn’t it absolutely lovely to be making plans again? Fingers crossed for warm, dry weather as everything still has to be outdoors! We had the most gloriously warm, sunny day on Easter Sunday and then yesterday while we were out walking Coco it started to snow – how can things change so fast in 24 hours? Sun’s out again today though π

We had snow flurries yesterday and it was bitterly cold. Sunshine and blue skies today. π

So many positives in the week ahead & last week was full of lovely times. I imagine the gardens at Hughenden were full of spring flowers. Had I known about the leg of lamb being served, I would have sent Mr Man over! π

A post full of lovely heart-warming things :). We had temperatures of minus 4 last night – I went out before bed and swathed our little maples in sheets and blankets (yes, honestly) to protect them against the bitter winds and hard frost. Snow today …

A small flurry of snow yesterday – blue skies and sunshine this morning, but clouding over now.
