We watched and highly recommend the Bee Gees documentary on Amazon Prime. The following evening we watched Saturday Night Fever.
I read a brilliant essay on Cup of Jo {this is the not-so-fun thing}. I’d like to suggest that you read both the essay and the comments section. The best comment? This: “Be brave for others”.
Spring is on the way. 🙂
We’re 14 years late to the party, but Mad Men (on Amazon Prime).
That is an amazing photo of the blossoms. I’ll have a read of Cup of Jo later – thanks for the recommendation.

Thanks – I captured the blossoms at the end of last week when I was out with Tilly. 🙂

Thank-you for the link to Cup of Jo and so sobering to read her life experience :(. Your photo is lovely – really full of Spring promise and life. I’ve not seen Mad Men either and always enjoy finding a series to follow, so thank-you!

I’m enjoying Mad Men, but I do find myself shouting at the TV – all those 1950s/1960s attitudes towards women, people of colour and parenting. 🙂

What an interesting, yet disturbing, piece from Jo. No matter how far we think we have come, we still have a way to go it would seem.

It does seem that way, doesn’t it. Given the news out of Colorado this week, I hope the US Government is able to take bipartisan action on tightening up their gun laws …

So glad spring is on the way! That was definitely a poignant article on Cup of Jo. The news here just keep getting worse & worse … (and I’ve just deleted the rest of my controversial comment about gun laws; I am a Texan after all).

As a Brit, it’s alien to me that anyone in the USA should think that they need to own an assault rifle, second amendment or not … and that’s all I’m saying here.

I agree about assault rifles, for sure! 🙂 But the discussion here always turns to all guns & total government control, which I don’t agree with. It’s really so sad what is happening with all the violent crime & controversies here lately, sad and scary.

It’s certainly concerning watching from here – I can’t imagine what it must be like in those communities right now. x
