This year’s word of heart is being recorded simply – one 12×12 scrapbook page a month. The Boy made me laugh by suggesting that he should appear every month. 🙂
In January, I chose a cute photo of our great nephews after they’d built a snowman:

For February, I chose a set of photos taken on a socially-distant outing to Kew Gardens (walking distance from our homes, so we stayed local) with my friend:

Winter’s snow, spring’s flowers, both layouts show what’s at the heart of it all, connection & nature. Lovely.

How lovely! A chat with a friend and a different view … so often they go together. Seeing the world through someone else’s eyes is so valuable – and gosh, have we been deprived of opportunities for that … It’s a lovely, colourful and hopeful page.

Thank you – just seeing my friend in a different place made me feel so much happier. 🙂

I like your use of the border punches. I have so many tools that I forget to use. Thanks for the reminder!

Some of the borders are actually stickers – I do have a border punch but I also tend to forget about it. The classic out of sight, out of mind. 🙂
