The plan was to continue the theme from 2020 – one layout per month. Except it hasn’t turned out that way for January …
The title page followed the same style as 2020‘s:

The Boy celebrated an at-home-birthday:

The eyes of the world were on Washington, D.C. (See here for a correction) :

And London had the first significant snowfall of the year:

I do like your title page. That’s the great thing about the idea of a page or two for the month, it can go with the flow of events. TB’s cake looks yummy. Nice snow person.
Weekend – is home schooling done for the week (yeah)!

Half-term next week so no school … but how to fill the days?

It’s great to think that at a time of lockdown you found more than one page’s worth of news to record!
A lockdown birthday means you have less people to have to share your Colin the Caterpillar cake with 😉 #secondhelpings

Haha, I love that piece of cake logic! (See what I did there?!)

Well, it was quite a momentous month! Great that you’ve recorded the big events outside home as well as within it – a month of celebrations, really :).

All told, a good month … somewhat surprisingly. 🙂

Great layout for the month! Can’t believe TBC has had another birthday already, wasn’t he just 13. It’s so interesting that you documented the inauguration … I don’t think I’ve every documented something happening in another country. Obviously I could improve my international news intelligence, but there’s plenty going on here to keep me avoiding news altogether! LOL

It was such a global story, I felt that the inauguration had to be included.
Your Texas weather was on BBC Radio News this morning – another Winter storm heading for the Dallas area, so hoping you and Robbie are safe and well.
