Let me begin by thanking you for reading, commenting and staying with me throughout 2020. It was quite the year. And that last sentence was quite the under statement.
Let’s also take a look at the all-important numbers: I wrote 254 posts, totaling 40,479 words. I have 239 followers. There were 1,979 comments, averaging 8 comments per post.
Throughout 2020 one thing remained clear, I wrote for me, and for me alone. That you, a reader, may have found something of interest has always been a bonus.
And what of This West London Life‘s content? It was both the same and very different to previous years:
- Life in Lockdown and living through a global pandemic was certainly the most unexpected topic to be written about.
- Month in Numbers
- One Photo | Twenty Words
- General scrapbooking
- For the Love of Books
- December Daily
- Learn Something New Everyday
- Photography Scavenger Hunt
- One Little Word
- Wit or Wisdom
- 100 Day Project
Not making an appearance were posts about overseas travel. Posts about exploring London were in short supply. I’m hopeful that both might make an reappearance in 2021.
I’m happy to continue sharing This London Life with cyberspace in 2021 and I’d be delighted if you were part of it as well. If not, well, thanks for the time you did spend here. It was very much appreciated.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, the new year is waiting …
I love the variety of your blog posts – promise us you’ll keep doing what you’ve been doing please!
Happy New Year to you and your family – keep safe and keep well x

My morning always starts with checking in with you & it has been a pleasure to read. Wishing you, TBO & TBC all the very best for 2021 with a hope for renewed adventures about & aboard.
Fingers crossed that your Minister of Education, who we saw on last night’s news, assuring everyone in Britain that schools will re-open after the holidays, is indeed correct. 🙂

Thank you, as always, for reading along!
I think your news is a little behind. All secondary schools will have a delayed return – children in exam years will go in on the 11th, with all other years now due to return on the 18th. Most primary schools in Tier 4 will also remain closed until the 18th. The initial return to school date was 4 January.

That is quite the accomplishment of blogging – 70% of the days of an entire year with blog posts. Amazing. And we’re certainly enjoying reading them. Happy 2021 to you and yours!!
