Project Life Revisited | Weeks 49 and 50

Week 49:

We went early with the Christmas decorations. The Boy Child captured a beautiful sunrise as he waited for the bus to school. I made the first batch of cranberry sauce. The double-issue of Radio Times went on sale. London’s West End was looking very festive and there was a glorious sunset.

Week 50:

I went to have my eyebrows done (I timed it perfectly and avoided any queue). We woke up to freezing fog. Margaret Keenen became the first person in the world to receive the Covid-19 vaccine – an historic moment. Miss Tilly went for a haircut. I delivered Christmas presents. I made friends with a reindeer. 🙂

  1. You certainly have been busy, blending the must do with the want to, which in this festive season is the best way to spend time. And doesn’t Miss Tilly look absolutely gorgeous in her festive scarf. And wasn’t that an amazing moment of Margaret starting off the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine. I wonder if spending time with reindeer on the 12th did not help with gift delivery on the 13th …

    1. Thank you. 🙂 It is disappointing that we have moved into the new Tier 4, but really, people need to stop behaving as though Covid has gone away because, you know, the vaccine.

  2. I really admire the way you capture the little things – for they are actually the big things in years to come and will spark off more memories and recollections. Yes, I was very pleased for Margaret Keenan; we share the same birthplace :). Ms Tilly is looking very winsome in her bandanna.
