Scrapbooking in 2020 #19

When I reached the end of 2011 in my revamp of The Boy Child’s early-years albums, I thought I was all but done … But then I flicked through the 2012 album and discovered that nothing had been recorded between late January and early May.

A trawl through my online photo collection (which I keep on an external hard drive) proved that lots of things had somehow been missed.

Such as the snowfall we had in early February:

I tweaked a design by Shimelle from her 4×6 Photo Love class and made a flap which holds two more photos. The patterned paper is called Snow Fun by Carta Bella, but it’s from 2016 so may be unavailable now.

And the time The Boy Child helped himself to The Brainy One’s fully-caffeinated Americano:

Who says you can’t use flowery paper on a ‘boy’ layout? The paper is from Doodlebug’s Love Notes range.

  1. How lovely to be able to find the missing months and fill in some more pages of his year book. So lovely to see those snow photos, it looks like he had a lot of fun playing in it!

  2. Both are lovely layouts. I am a fan of Carta Bella paper & collections. Are there photos of the “afters” of that coffee slurp or did TBC take it in his stride?! As for pink florals, if they work, they work 🙂
