Welcome to December Daily, my favourite project of the year.
Day 6: This was the day The Boy Child and I went into town early on a Sunday morning to look at the West End’s festive windows. I printed out two small photos to stick onto a TN filler page and paired it with a homemade pocket. I filled the pocket with eight photos and two journaling cards. (You can find a link to the instructions for the pocket here.)
Day 7: I cracked on with more Christmas card writing and completed my Christmas gift wrapping.
Day 8: Nothing to do with the festive season, but everything to do with light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel. 🙂 An historic day. I didn’t want journaling about the Covid-19 vaccine on show, so I made a hinged flap and put the details and photos out of sight. The sticker was perfect – from two individual vaccinations to, eventually, some 54 million Britons (and billions around the world). 🙂
Day 9: The day was, in itself, a photo-free day and I borrowed an idea from Ali Edwards for the journaling. I used two 3×8 cards and stitched down the middle of a 6×8 page protector, adding hand stitching and embellishments to the 3×8 filler card.

Day 10: Elvis the Elf continues to amuse me. 🙂
December Daily | my favourite project of the year.
I like the idea of “December Is …” Oh that Elf, he’ll be on Santa’s naughty list if he isn’t careful! I agree COVID shouldn’t be the focus of December Daily, but the vaccine being given is that special “star” shining over a very dark year. Next week the jabs start in Canada for health care workers who work in LTC (long term care).
Happy weekend.

The ‘December is …’idea was so useful, especially on a day where I hadn’t taken any photos. 🙂
