A Virtual Crop in the Country

The first weekend of October should have seen me and The Best Friend spending two days together at Crop in the Country, a weekend get together in Wiltshire. You won’t be surprised to learn that it was cancelled.

The organisers, however, were efficient and sent out a box full of scrappy goodness to each delegate … which meant that The Best Friend and I were able to scrap together via the magic of FaceTime.

In the box, there were 12 paper bags filled with enough supplies to make around 20 layouts. But, when it came down to it, I didn’t particularly like any of the suggested designs included with the page kits. 😦

How is that even possible? Am I too fussy? Or is it that the designs simply weren’t a match to how I like to scrap? Whatever. To quote The Best Friend, we went “rogue” and had two fun and productive afternoons together, albeit virtually.

I’ll be showing you what I created next week. πŸ™‚

  1. It sounds like you both had fun & were creatively productive. Going kit rogue is really the only way to scrap …IMO

And that you for that link about the British/Canadian couple finally able to be together – they made the nightly news in the segment about good news/feel good news. We have been promised a wedding event follow up. Happy Weekend.
