To be honest, I’d rather forgotten about the Covid-19 journal … however, now that we have a semblance of normality in our lives with The Boy Child back at school, I’ve picked it up again.
Into the album has gone a haircut – just the story and a single embellishment:

Included next was a visit from my God Daughter and her family, and Captain Tom receiving his knighthood from the Queen – again, minimal embellishments:

And finally, for now, one of my favourite photos of 2020 – just a single embellishment.

All journaling and filler cards from In a Creative Bubble.
Still to be added – a dental check-up, the visit to South Lakeland, the Rule of 6 and The Boy Child’s return to school.
This is going to be a really interesting journal to look back on! In 10 years time you’ll look at that page and think ‘why on earth was I so excited to have a haircut?’ forgetting that getting that appointment was the highlight of the month!
The Rule of Six is fine for us, we can see our family, just one group at a time instead of all at once, but I do feel for people who have four children, so they are in effect back on the original restrictions of not being allowed to see anyone else. Not to mention the confusion of some of the UK countries including under 12s in the equation and some not!

Who would ever imagine that going for a haircut would become such an event!
The Rule of 6 is tough for us – we can no longer see our great nephews, because they’re a family of five in their own right, and their Colombian uncle is also with them just now. Our oldest friends are a family of four. I know it won’t be forever, but it’s hard not seeing anyone again.

Ah yes the COVID journal – I’ve just finished up a page about COVID Cooking … these are certainly historical times. I also included a story about Major Tom & his inspirational walking. I think my favourite dismemberment is the pair of scissors. Mr Man has another hair cut appt. booked before any change in the things allowed. I just know we are moving quickly into another lockdown, although it might not be ALL of the province, the Premiere may do it by region or county & thankfully our county is behaving & our numbers are still low; I don’t think I could handle another man bun on Mr Man!!

We have more and more areas moving into localised lockdown – the rising numbers of infections and deaths are hugely concerning. Keep safe.
Chuckling at the thought of a man bun! 🙂

I hate the new blogger who likes to change words on me – it’s the embellishment of the scissors I like. Of course running with scissors could cause dismemberment of that man bun forming!

What a delightful photo of all those lovely young people! Your young man is clearly cherished by his three admirers. I’ll be going for my second Covid hair cut soon (if we’re not locked down first again) – my poor hairdresser is now wearing both mask and visor, and getting terrible headaches :(. Dennis sounds like a treasure.
