September means that the Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness is approaching. It also means that Shimelle is running her annual class, Learn Something New Every Day.
As with the previous few years, I’m recording what I’ve learned throughout September here.

Day 6: A couple of hours set aside for scrapbooking were just what the doctor ordered. 🙂
Day 7: Buying trainers that meet school’s uniform list requirements is not as easy as it should be.
Day 8: Telling a story from years ago for a scrapbook page needn’t be War and Peace.
Day 9: It’s worth checking Oxfam‘s opening times before walking up there with bags of books to donate. 🙂
Day 10: The Boy Child was away from school for 192 days.
Schools always like to set you a little challenge don’t they?! How frustrating to carry a heavy bag of books all the way to the shop and then find them closed. 192 days – more than half a year, the six weeks summer holiday will never seem quite so long in the future will they 😉

I like what you learnt on Day 6 – it’s a prescription I’m going to take the weekend of the 25th-27th with an online “Scrapping Carnival”. I’m afraid to start counting up the days (numbers) of things happening since March, 192 days away from the formal class room is a looooonnngggg time, I bet those trainers for running back to class will be well used.

Always good to have a crop to look forward to, online or otherwise. 🙂

No.9 sounds like it was a real pain :(. Though school uniform shopping might be close second. Glad you are able to get a goodly chunk of refreshing scrapbooking time.

Scrapbooking has dropped off a little of late – I’m looking forward to getting back into it. 🙂

Glad you were able to set aside time for scrapbooking. I’ve been alternating between lots of reading, then lots of crafting, and the occasional binge watching … anything to stay away from the news of the day!
