Back in the mists of time, when school closed and work was sent home, one ongoing topic was for The Boy Child to keep a diary of his days at home. I had him set up with divided page protectors and Project Life-style journaling cards by lunch time of the first day of Home School. 🙂

We had to be a little creative when it came to come up with entries, so that they weren’t the same day in, day out. And where we were truly stuck for ideas, we added a photo of Tilly.

Fourteen weeks later and he’s giving a presentation of his diary at this week’s Zoom class get together.
A great job – with the help of Mum’s scrapbooking stash! Hope his presentation on Zoom goes well. This lockdown must have been extra challenging for young people, especially those who thrive on routine and structure. Hats off to you Ruth.

If I’m being honest, I’m just about done with the whole homeschooling thing, and so is he. 😦

TBC has done well to keep up with his journal. I feel certain that his presentation of his journal with lots of those cards, photos & inserts will inspire others in their journal keeping & it is probably true, a photo is worth a 1000 words. And let’s not forget it helps having a crafty Mum.

Haha, it’s helped that he has a mum who nags! 🙂

School’s have all been out here since the end of May & so far there’s not been a definitive answer on what things will look like when they start again in August.
He’s done a wonderful job on the album & how exciting that he’ll do a presentation on it!
