My creative mojo has been missing of late; I didn’t create a traditional 12×12 page for almost a month. Earlier this week, I went back to basics.
I returned to one of my favourite online classes for photos of our great nephews – Shimelle‘s 4×6 Photo Love class. Sometimes, simplicity is key.

I made a couple of pages for The Boy Child’s revamped albums. One featured his favourite things when he was a toddler in 2010 (and I’m selflessly showing you how the original looked).
2020 Version Original version from 2010
The other featured a favourite photo from December 2009 and I used a load of wintry embellishments in lieu of patterned paper.
What have you been creating?
All great pages. In the winter layout, I like your clusters. Creating clusters is always a challenge for me. For the switch of of TBC Favourite Things, I like the addition of Granny Bear … I’m sure books would still make the list.
I have assembled photos, sketch, paper & embellishments for a scarp session later today/tomorrow when it will be too humid to be outside, hoping your post gives my mojo a jolt (col).

Granny Ted didn’t make the revamped version because I couldn’t find her photo in my archives. She is still very much with us and as much loved as ever.
And yes, books are still on his ‘favourites’ list.

Oh, these turned out lovely! I really like all the bits & pieces on the wintry layout.
The 4×6 Photo Love class was definitely inspiring. I noticed a post this week about a new(er) free class with Shimelle at scrapbook.com (Timeless Layout Techiques). I’m gonna watch the three videos today as I get set for a Friday in my craft room.
