The Boy Child made this loaf as part of a home-schooling Food Tech lesson. The recipe is easy to follow and tastes delicious.
Ingredients:
260 grams plain flour,
55 grams caster sugar,
4 teaspoons of baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon of salt (we went with a generous pinch),
320 ml milk (we used semi-skimmed),
125 grams peanut butter (we used crunchy).

Method:
Preheat the oven to 160 C.
Mix dry ingredients together and then mix in milk and peanut butter with a wooden spoon. Pour loaf batter into a greased loaf tin and bake for approximately 1 hour.
Use a skewer to check it’s cooked, making sure it comes out clean.
Allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing from loaf tin.
Slice and serve buttered.
If you keep posting such delicious sounding recipes here I am going to have to blame you for my ever increasing waistline 😉
This looks and sounds fab, I’ve been making the beer bread you showed a little while ago and that was a total success so I need to try this one now – just need to add peanut butter to my shopping list!

Haha, The Brainy One is already talking about his extra ‘Covid Kilos’! Our loaf came out really soft and light – delicious with butter on.

Thank you for sharing the recipe. It sounds yummy & it will feature for Saturday’s breakfast special. I chuckled at TBO’s Covid Kilos – that is going into the COVID-19 dictionary of my Lockdown Diary.
