Week 15:

Week 4 of lockdown. Nature continued doing her Spring thing. I made time for scrapbooking. We stood in the front door on Thursday and joined our neighbours in applauding all those working on the front line.
Week 16:

The week began with a glorious sunrise (which made me surprisingly emotional). There was TV watching, podcast listening and reading going on. The Boy Child and I made beer bread with added Cheddar cheese.
All the journaling and filler cards came from the superb In a Creative Bubble.
This year’s project life is certainly going to be very different to any previous ones – what a great way of recording this strange time we are living in at the moment.
Thanks to you we are now having beer bread once a week – I’m so grateful you reminded me of Deb’s recipe. It’s as delicious with soup as it is with antipasti plate of meats and cheeses and delicious toasted too!

PL is working well for recording a snapshot of this current time … I am, of course, working on a Covid-19 album … to be revealed soon.

PS: good to know you’re also making Deb’s recipe for beer bread! Today’s baking assignment for TBC is peanut butter loaf.

Your project life of week to week feelings & activities of this year will be one of greatest 2020 accomplishments. I do know what you mean about some sunrises & sunsets, but especially the sunrise; what will today bring, let this be the day a break through in research …. please please please.

I think you’re right about seeing the sunrise – I stood an looked at it and remember thinking, “Please let there be good news today …”
There wasn’t, but no matter …

These pages are definitely capturing life right now! Our rose bushes have bloomed more this year than ever … so that’s one thing that hasn’t been depressed by the pandemic!

Yes, our garden has never looked so lovely, what with all the attention it’s been receiving. It’s comforting to see Nature continuing to do her thing.

I can understand about the sunrise … there is something very comforting and yet bittersweet that Nature and the non-human kingdom continue to flourish unconcernedly. I really like the variety in your album, with all those different cards.

Totally agree! I’ve not listened to anything like this before and for me, I think the music has helped too – very atmospheric!
