Week 9:
Yet another winter storm – Storm Jorge, although London got off fairly lightly. I spent an afternoon with my friend at St. Mary’s, Paddington (I’ve obscured her face to protect her privacy and made a flip-up pocket to hide the journaling). The Boy Child and I went on a Mum and Son date – Sunday lunch at my club followed by Simply Sinatra at the Royal Festival Hall.

Week 10:
A slow start to the week, but ended with a bang … The Boy Child dressed up as Harry Potter for World Book Day. I collected my pre-ordered copy of Hilary Mantel’s book, The Mirror and The Light. I suffered a fall from grace.
I think TBC rocks out his Harry Potter look. I do hope your friend is well recovered from hospital needs. Oh interesting about your book, I have the first book of that Thomas Crowell series on request from the library. April 6th seems such a long way off for the re-opening of the library. Maybe we could get all the HP fans to whip up a spell to rid the world of the virus that shall not be named …

It will be a bittersweet moment when TBC no longer wants to dress as Harry Potter on WBD!
Oh, and my friend is fine, thank you.

Your pages are looking wonderful – I know it’s only a small thing, but I love the mix of printed typography, stamped dates and your own handwriting. I know you’re calling it ‘fall from grace’ but I thought your kind-to-self response to your accident was very graceful :).

Project Life for 2020 is certainly going to be an unusual record of an unbelievable turn of events!
Love that HP costume, the owl is a wonderful addition!

Who would have believed what would be happening!?
Poor old Hedwig, the owl, now only has one eye, thanks to a middle-of-the-night raid by one Miss Tilly! I said to TBC that he should pretend that she was injured in an attack on Harry by the dementors …

I so love seeing TBC dressed as Harry Potter!!!! (possibly for the last time – time is always moving forward & things change as they grow, but, oh, won’t that seem like the end of an era)

It will be bittersweet when he’s no longer Harry Potter at least once a year.
