I’ve used what I’d learned at October’s Gogo Getaway to good effect and filled in a few blanks in our 2019 album and The Boy Child’s album (Volume 6) …

The layout above was in reply to a challenge set by The Best Friend – use the group photo and anything from the supplies leftover from the weekend. (I reused the design from Class #2.)
I liked Class #2’s design so much, I used it on one more layout … one for The Boy Child’s album about that wedding.

I also added September’s back-to-school photos to The Boy Child’s album …

Amazing how different photos can make the same layout design look so different!

I love those frilly/lacy additions behind the photos – and your little strip containing the glasses is just perfect for the school page. Very clever!

The strip with the glasses on is actually washi tape -isn’t it fab! I bought it in a branch of Michaels in NYC when I went last year. It’s perfect for school photos of TBC.

In the first layout, I do like the use of both B/W & colour photos along with the repeat of shapes, some filled with photos & some blank. Visually easy to find the story in the photos. I agree with Deb’s comment, that different photos give the same layout design a totally different feel. Year 8 (when did that happen!) nice use of embellishments.

I love the new school range from Doodlebug – the wee boy embellie looks just like TBC!
