And it’s here – December Daily.
I’m using a 6×8 album from Simple Stories (purchased last year), Project Life style cards from In a Creative Bubble and embellishments from Doodlebug Design.

This year’s Manifesto for December is super simple. After 11 years of documenting December Daily, I know that simplicity is key.
The space on the lower left is meant to be filled with a festive photo of me …
Day 1: We spent the morning perusing the Christmas window displays in town. Fortnum and Mason were the clear winners, with an honourable mention to Annabel’s.

I printed six of my photos in a small size (they’re about 4 cms square) and glued them on the outside of the page protector
Day 2: I finished tweaking the baubles and lights on the Christmas tree and reminisced about where some of our old and newer decorations came from.

Day 3: I made cranberry sauce (Nigella’s recipe).

Day 4: was all about the festive street art appearing on empty shops locally.

Day 5: Our friend from Spain was in London briefly, so we met up for coffee and a present swap.

December Daily | my favourite project of the year.
Wonderful start to your album. London (England) is definitely the place to be during the holidays – all your shops get heartily into decorating; I like that Santa’s Elf team decorated empty shops . I’ll be making Nigella’s cranberry sauce again, this year not only using the orange juice but I may add a splash of orange liqueur!

Because I gift jars to friends who don’t drink, I never put alcohol in my cranberry sauce.

Funny you should say that, because I don’t think we really are …

I like your simple approach. And the idea of the little squares on TOP of the page protector is genius!!! I am very much looking forward to seeing your PL pages next year 😉

Thank you very much! Funny that you mentioned Project Life, because I was just thinking about that and drafting a blog post for early January … stay tuned.

What a lovely start to December … Lots of colour, daily things, little notes and reminders … the best sort of memory-keeping! Looking forward to seeing more :).
