The lovely Mary-Lou of Patio Postcards blog pointed me recently in the direction of Brené Brown‘s new weekly gratitude practice, TGIF. Most of us would recognise TGIF as an acronym for Thank God It’s Friday, but in Brené’s world it stands for Trusting, Grateful, Inspired and Fun.
Trusting: that I can finish my latest round of decluttering without too many trips to the charity shop.
Grateful: to have known my best friend 30 years this month.
Inspired: to crack on with my December Daily foundation pages, now that it’s November.
Fun: to have spent a recent weekend with my best friend. No husbands, no children. Just the two of us.
I saw some of your art creations at your retreat – what fun to do with a friend. Oh December Daily starts, I could easily be in the mood as we had snow flurries this morning (nothing sticking).

Snow flurries? It’s obviously a sign that you should begin prepping December Daily! (London is wet, overcast and grey.)
